Over the summer I met with Buck Branson of Evolve to discuss what I am doing in the climbing world as well as talk about some of my projects to promote social and environmental responsibility in the US and abroad. As a result I am thrilled to be joining the Evolve team. I will be involved in product testing of present and future products and hope to be able to use my four decades of climbing experience to improve Evolves already great line up of climbing and approach shoes.
Evolve is a small company committed to producing amazing climbing shoes in a responsible way by NOT using chemicals such as PAH oils, that have been label as a potential carcinogen, and by using recycled rubber when ever possible. For more info http://www.traxrubber.com/ecotrax.html
Evolve will also be supporting me in presenting expedition slideshows. The first one is NOLS alumni event, that is open to the public, on Oct 24 in Austin Texas at the Patagonia Store, 316 N Congress
