I arrived in Seattle, WA a few days ago to visit Szu-ting Yi. Between planning sessions for LittlePo Adventures and upcoming trips to Taiwan and China we managed to get out for some climbing at Index and Szu-ting was a willing model for some first aid images I needed to capture for a book I am working on with Pequot Press. She suffered a broken wrist, femur, severe lacerations, heat exhaustion and blisters yet always had a smile at the end of the shoots. Last fall I was hired to produce images for three Backpacker Magazine books, written by Molly Absolon, Outdoor Survival, Campsite Cooking and Trailside Navigation. This book entitled Trailside First Aid should be out sometime this summer.
