In 2010, I filmed Jamie Donaldson as she competed in the 135 mile Badwater Ultra-marathon. The race takes place in the middle of July and starts in Death Valley where the temperature is over 115°F and finishes at Mt Whitney after gaining 8,000 feet of elevation.
I thought the footage had been lost when several external drives failed, but I recently found the raw data and edited this short trailer of the event!
