Snow in mid June??!!

I just finished up a working a NOLS Instructor Course. We spent two weeks at Split Rock in Central Wyoming. Usually the weather this time of year is hot and climbing with a umbrella for shade is not out of the question. During our time in Split Rock we received torrential rains, sleet (snow actually covered the high peaks) 55 mph winds, thankfully we were also were treated to many sunny days with temperatures in the 70’s. The course was very successful with everyone learning climbing systems and having a lot of fun along the way. Here is a gallery of images from the course
